Description

The fiddle leaf fig, scientifically known as Ficus lyrata, is a stunning and popular houseplant that has become a staple in many homes and interior design schemes. With its large, glossy, violin-shaped leaves, the fiddle leaf fig makes a bold statement and adds a touch of elegance and sophistication to any space.

Here are the basic care instructions for a fiddle leaf fig:

  1. Light: Place your fiddle leaf fig in bright, indirect light. It thrives in bright, filtered sunlight. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves. Rotate the plant occasionally to ensure even growth. This plant does not do well in low light conditions.
  2. Watering: Water your fiddle leaf fig when the soil is completely dry, this is around once every +- 2 weeks. Use room temperature water and water the plant thoroughly until water drains out of the bottom of the pot. Ensure to completely saturate the soil when watering.
  3. Fertilisation: Feed your fiddle leaf fig with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser formulated for indoor plants such as TruGrower.  Fertilise once a month during the growing season (spring and summer). Avoid over fertilisation, as it can cause leaf burn.

SO incredibly beautiful

I have always wanted a fiddle leaf fig plant but have never been able to find one that was firstly in my budget and secondly looked healthy enough for me to take over the care.
I received my plant from Botanical Heaven I think maybe 2 days after ordering and she was packaged so well and carefully and she was stunning. Could see she was a healthy and happy plant. I am so so happy with her!
