Description

The ZZ plant, scientifically known as Zamioculcas zamiifolia, is a resilient and low-maintenance houseplant that has gained popularity for its ability to thrive in various indoor conditions. With its glossy, dark green leaves that grow in a graceful, upright fashion, the ZZ plant adds a touch of elegance and beauty to any space.

Care instructions for a ZZ Plant:

  1. Light: The ZZ plant can tolerate low light conditions, but it will thrive in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
  2. Watering: The ZZ plant prefers to dry out between waterings, so wait until the soil has completely dried out before watering. Water once every +- 4 weeks. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it’s better to underwater rather than overwater.
  3. Fertiliser: Fertilise the ZZ plant once a month during the growing season (spring and summer) with a balanced fertiliser such as TruGrower.
