The Heart Leaf Philodendron (Philodendron Scandens) is a beautiful trailing indoor plant loved for its soft, heart shaped green leaves and lush growth. Its long vines can be left to cascade from shelves and hanging baskets or trained to climb up a support, making it an incredibly versatile plant for almost any indoor space.

Easy to care for and adaptable, the Heart Leaf Philodendron is an excellent choice for beginners. It can tolerate lower light conditions but will grow best in bright, indirect natural light, where it tends to produce fuller, faster growth.

Water when the top 5 to 10 cm of soil is dry.

Bright, indirect natural light.
Keep out of direct sunlight.

Water your plant when the top 5 to 10 cm of soil feels dry. As a general guide, check the soil once a week, but only water when it is dry. Your plant's environment will determine how often it needs watering, so avoid watering on a schedule.

When watering, thoroughly saturate the soil and allow all excess water to drain away before placing the plant back into its decorative pot or basket.

This plant thrives in bright, indirect natural light and should be placed near a well lit window. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
