Product Description

The Cast Iron Plant (Aspidistra elatior) is an exceptionally hardy indoor plant known for its long, elegant dark green leaves and ability to thrive with very little attention. True to its name, it has earned a reputation for being one of the toughest indoor plants, making it an excellent choice for beginners or anyone looking for a reliable, low maintenance plant.

One of its biggest advantages is its ability to tolerate lower light conditions, although it will also grow well in bright, indirect natural light. Its upright, leafy growth creates a lush and timeless look that works beautifully in both homes and offices.
Care Instruction
  • Water once every 2-3 weeks when the soil is dry
  • Thoroughly saturate the soil when watering
  • Allow excess water to drain away
  • Bright, indirect natural light
  • Keep out of direct sunlight

Water once every 2-3 weeks when the soil is dry. Check the soil rather than watering on a schedule, as your plant's environment will determine how often it needs watering.

When watering, thoroughly saturate the soil and allow all excess water to drain away before placing the plant back into its decorative pot or basket.

This plant thrives in bright, indirect natural light. Avoid direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves.
